Mighty Oak Public Speaking

Third Class 

The children learn public speaking skills, including

  • Eye contact, how to recognise and use their strong voice; how to gesture.

  • Space management and how to ask open questions.

  • How to deliver a short speech and how to introduce a speaker.

Duration 

Each lesson is one hour long.
There are 2 -6  lessons depending on programme choice.

Impact

Teacher Assessment  - Teachers fill in a very short post programme report (4 mins) 

Pupil Voice - Carried out once programme has been complete. 

Impact Evaluation Report presented to the Head of School at the end of the programme.
