Irish Programmes

The Mighty Oak programme is targeted towards building the skills needed to achieve a number of the Learning Outcomes within the following area of the Irish primary curriculum:

 

English/ Oral Language/ Communicating/ Social conventions and awareness of others.

 

The series of five one-hour lessons will provide the pupils with the tools they need to confidently communicate orally in line with the Learning Outcomes.

It also integrates with other subject areas including “Engagement, listening and attention” within Oral Language and with Drama and SPHE. 

​

Details of integration can be easily lifted and transcribed and are enclosed within the class programme.
