We work with primary and post-primary schools, teachers and education organisations to build confident communication as a life skill. Our programmes are designed to grow year on year, embedding confidence early and supporting teachers to model and sustain it across the school community.
Our programmes are chosen by schools that value depth, consistency and emotional understanding and that want confident communication to be accessible to every child, not just the confident few.
Pupils learn to speak clearly and confidently one-to-one, building the eye contact, listening and voice skills they use every day.
Pupils practise sharing ideas in small groups, learning to take turns, hold attention and speak up with confidence.
Pupils step up to address the whole class, using the same core skills to project their voice and engage a bigger audience.
Pupils put their core speaking skills into practice, using voice, body language and structure with growing confidence.
Pupils learn to adapt what they say and how they say it for different listeners, from classmates to adults.
Pupils apply their skills to real situations, such as class discussions, debates and assemblies, and learn to adjust to each setting.
Pupils create and deliver a short story without notes, bringing it to life with expression, confidence and energy.
Pupils build and deliver a full speech with a captivating opening, clear key points and a strong call-to-action close.
Pupils present professionally with a structured slide deck, speaking with the confidence and poise of an experienced presenter.
Our programmes are designed to build year on year, embedding confident communication as a life skill rather than a one-off experience. By supporting both pupils and teachers, we help schools create a culture where speaking up is normalised, modelled and encouraged across classrooms, assemblies and everyday school life.
We understand that confidence isn’t about performance or personality. It’s about helping every child, regardless of background, ability or circumstance to feel comfortable using their voice and being heard.
Our Honours Board celebrates pupils who have shown courage, progress and growth in using their voice. It recognises the confidence built through practice, support and steady encouragement.
We help teachers confidently deliver speaking activities while strengthening their own voice and presence. Training is practical, inclusive and non-threatening, building skills step by step.
Teachers gain clear, classroom-ready tools, greater confidence in communication and leadership, better support for shy and ESOL pupils, and a shared language for confident speaking across the school.

Confidence barriers are often personal, shaped by past experiences, pressure or long-held habits around speaking. Our one-to-one coaching gives teachers a safe, supportive space to build confidence in everyday communication — from meetings and assemblies to presenting to parents or simply using their voice more comfortably.
Sessions are practical, gentle and tailored to the individual, with no pressure to perform. Teachers develop self-trust and practical tools they can use immediately, with growing confidence naturally carrying through into the classroom and benefiting pupils as well as staff.
We actively address one of the most common and limiting barriers to social mobility: the fear of speaking up. When confidence, promotion or leadership depends on communication, those without early support are often left behind. Our work helps ensure that pupils grow up able to express themselves clearly and calmly, so that as they progress through education, careers and public life, their voice does not hold them back.
Mighty Oak exists to ensure every child leaves primary school with the confidence to speak up, regardless of background, personality or circumstance.
The programme has already delivered almost 22,000 pupil programme places, with impact increasing year-on-year as cohorts progress through the programme levels.
By tackling fear of speaking early, Mighty Oak removes a major barrier to confidence, leadership and opportunity—ensuring more voices are heard in society over time.
Mighty Oak exists to ensure every child leaves primary school with the confidence to speak up, regardless of background, personality or circumstance.
